Bread and Roses Farm CSA Harvest Festival
Our big hurrah of the end of the growing season happens annually on the third Saturday in September on the farm. CSA members, farmers, and supportive neighbors come together to celebrate the harvest through food, games, music and hayrides. In 2010, we featured Farm Olympics for the first time, and it was a huge success. Pitch fork tosses, rotten tomato throws, and vegetable-related relays had all ages communing in laughter. We always have great local musicians who encourage revelry and good times. Take a tour of our fields by hayride with locally brewed beer in hand. This event is a chance to meet with your community over delicious food and lots of fun.
