Fresh Veggies from the Farm

Welcome to

Bread & Roses Farm CSA

A Diversified Vegetable, Flower and Herb CSA committed to using the best farming practices for the health of the land and ourselves.

Together we are building community through the radical act of caring where our food comes from.

Bread and Roses Farm is located in the heart of Westford, VT and grows a deliciously, diverse mix of high quality, fresh vegetables for our CSA members.  We offer a range of CSA share options that reflect the needs of a population varied by income, eating habits, and access to healthy food.  Choose from full and small vegetable shares, share add-ons for locally produced bread, and eggs, and a winter root vegetable share.
Pick-ups take place at the farm’s pick-your-own garden, Mondays or Thursdays, for 18 weeks mid-June through mid-October. Share sign-ups are accepted between mid-February and mid-June. You can also find Bread and Roses produce Friday afternoons throughout the summer season at the Westford Farmers Market on the town green.

Our farm offers you the opportunity to connect with your food, the farmland, and your community. Come once a week throughout the season and pick up your share, complete with such tasty items as our robust stiff neck garlic, juicy sweet peppers, and gorgeous head lettuce.  Walk away with innovative seasonal recipes, farm-based newsletters, hand-picked flower bouquets, and the knowledge that you are helping preserve the local economy and landscape.

Whether you dwell in Fletcher or Fairfax, Essex or Westford, Milton or Cambridge, we are creating a setting where folks can unite over their food. While sharing cooking tips with your neighbor or taking a hayride during our harvest festival, you can be assured that where there is fresh food and fun, community will blossom.

Bread and Roses Farm is operated by Chris Siegriest and a lovely farm crew, consisting of amazing interns and working members. We are committed to agricultural practices that will ensure the land’s vitality for generations to come.

"We believe that healthy communities and healthy farms are intricately linked, each supporting the other. Our CSA is created around the desire to make fresh vegetables accessible to as many folks as possible, to weave a strong and vibrant community, to engage CSA members in where their food comes from, and ultimately to have fun in all that we do"
